Truck Driving Training
|
History
Since 1995, York Technical College has worked independently and partnered with area and national trucking companies to provide an excellent truck driver training
program that prepares candidates for a career in one of the nation's leading industries. With ever growing and changing technologies, the trucking industry has become
a highly skilled profession.
At the Program's satellite campus located at 390 South Wilson Street in Rock Hill, South Caroline, experienced and trained professional instructors guide and assist
students in meeting state and federal expectations for the safe operation of 18-wheel tractor-trailer rigs. The Program includes safe operation training for Class A
and Class B vehicles. As students proceed with training skills, instructors schedule them to be examined for the CDL license (usually during the last week of the
training program.)
Classroom, Field/Yard and Behind-the-Wheel training prepares the successful candidate for a promising and exciting profession.
