Thank you for your interest in employment at York Technical College.  Enclosed is an application package for employment at York Technical College.  It is essential that the applicant file includes a letter of application for the specific position, a resume and the completed application and all required forms included in this package.  If you have already sent to the Human Resources Office a letter of application and resume, it is not necessary to include additional copies with this package. If we do not receive the completed York Technical College application; your file is considered incomplete and inactive. Please remember applications are only active for a 90 day period. You will be required to submit a new application packet after the 90 day period has expired.

 

Please note the following:

 

ü            The application forms must be filled out completely and the position for which you are applying should be listed.

ü            All questions should be answered completely and all periods of employment and/or unemployment should be included.

ü            If you are applying for more than one (1) position at the same time, you may photocopy the application and submit the appropriate number.  An application must be completed for each vacancy.

ü            An official transcript for each degree you list on the application is required. This only applies to any associate, baccalaureate, and graduate degree.

ü            Transcript Request Form(s) are included in the application package; official transcripts must be mailed to: Human Resource Department, York Technical College, 452 South Anderson Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

ü            Copies of transcripts issued to the student cannot be accepted.

ü            Be specific and accurate in answering all questions. The complete employer name, address, telephone number, supervisor’s name, number of hours worked, and specific job duties are very important in evaluating your application.

ü            The reference authorization forms must be signed and returned to us with your completed package. Please do not send them directly to the employer.
