DIRECT DIGITAL MANUFACTURING TECHNICAL INSTRUCTOR
York Technical College is seeking a highly skilled Engineering professional to become a vital member of the academic team in the Institute for Manufacturing Productivity. The Direct Digital Manufacturing (DDM) Instructor will be responsible for instructional duties in the areas of areas of 3-D Printing, Selective Laser Sintering and Steroelithography, including installation, set-up, operation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and predictive maintenance related to these technologies. Other duties will include assisting with the planning, developing, producing, evaluating and revising DDM program curricula, courses and modules in state-of-the art multimedia and distance learning formats. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field and a minimum of three years of experience that includes computer integrated manufacturing, field service, instructional development, teaching or training and development. A master’s degree is strongly preferred. A working knowledge of 3-D CAD and Microsoft Office is necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to successfully perform the duties.
