Anne Springs Close Library
York Technical College faculty and staff understand that library resources and services are a vital part of every student's continuous learning experience, therefore we provide space to create, tools to explore, and inspiration to succeed. Our goal is to meet the academic and professional information needs of students, faculty and staff by providing access to current and comprehensive information sources and services. The library contains over 30,000 books and 500 journal titles. The library provides access to more than 1,500 full-text, online journals. Professional staff provide reference services as well as instruction in database searching and managing information. Anne Springs Close Library is open 67.5 hours in a traditional week and has an open-stack. Its public catalog is available on its web site at www.yorktech.edu/library. Books are loaned for two weeks and audio-visuals are loaned for two days all items are available for one renewal; reference materials, journals, and newspapers are available for use in the library.

Our main library resources page provides the off-campus log-in information, links to popular magazines, upcoming events, and an opportunity for you to comment on our resources.
From the "Find Books and Articles" page, you can link to the library catalog, go to the college bookstore, search multi-databases in one search from various vendors, request an Interlibrary Loan, or go to the alphabetical list of all online resources.
This page contains a brief description of our eBooks and streaming media. Use the drop-down box from the main tab to find directions, links and additional information.
In addition to our subscription to America's Newspaper, you will be able to quickly view current news from the local level to the national level using our RSS feed services.
Between Learning Express and Testing and Education Reference Center you can find help to study for anything from entrance exams to career certification exams. You can even go through a self-paced class to learn how to use common data processing tools. Both products come with both eBooks and Test Preparation Exams allowing you to practice until you are ready. Sign up for your own account and start studying today.
