License Requirements |
Two years of full-time work experience, doing work in the field for which the license is sought, within five years, prior to application. (This experience can include both residential and commercial work.)

Complete official license application and submit to SC LLR Licensing Board for General Contractors. Complete and submit 40-question "take home exam." Include the biennial licensing fee of $350 and a financial statement reflecting the net worth for the level licensure sought.
