EXCELS is an
acronym for EXcellence
through College Enrollment
for LearnerS.
The purpose of EXCELS is to provide opportunities for qualified
high school juniors and seniors to complete college-level
courses while still enrolled in high school. Students may earn
dual credit (high school and college credit) when courses
include both college and high school requirements.

digital-savvy college among the nation's large and urban
community colleges by the American Association of
Community Colleges (AACC) and the Center for Digital
Education. The award recognizes York Technical College's

University Transfer
More students are enrolled in the University
Transfer Program at York Technical College than
any other major. Over 1000 students are
currently taking university transfer courses
that represent their freshman and sophomore
years at 4-year colleges and universities across
