Duffy Awarded Certified Fund Raising Executive Designation

 ROCK HILL—CFRE
International has awarded York Technical College Vice President for
Development Dr. Ed Duffy the professional designation of Certified Fund
Raising Executive (CFRE). Duffy joins more than 4,700 professionals
around the world who hold the CFRE designation. Individuals granted the
CFRE credential have met a series of standards set by CFRE International
which include tenure in the profession, educational and professional
achievement, and a commitment to service and accountability standards.
Additionally, candidates must pass a rigorous written exam which tests
for the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of a fundraising
executive.CFRE International is an independent organization whose sole mission is dedicated to the certification of fundraising executives by setting standards in philanthropy.
