Macdonald, Stewart, and Piner Recognized as York Tech's Educators of the Year February 27, 2013 MYRTLE BEACH—At the annual South Carolina Technical Education Association (SCTEA) conference in Myrtle Beach last week, York Technical College faculty and staff were recognized with the college's Educator of the Year Awards. Each year, the York Tech community submits nominations for colleagues who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence and dedication to the college. Those receiving the award this year were Dr. Martha Macdonald, English Instructor (in the faculty category); Dr. Carolyn Stewart, Executive Vice President for Academic & Student Affairs (administrator/manager); and Brandy Piner, Director of Records, Registration, and Articulation (staff). York Technical College is proud of these exceptional educators. The South Carolina Technical Education Association is a professional association of technical education personnel and others interested in post-secondary technical education.
