ROCK HILL—Dr.
Mark Ulseth has been named York Technical College's new associate vice
president for academic and student affairs.
The Detroit native comes to York Tech from Henry
Ford Community College in Dearborn, Mich., where he served as director
of admissions and registration. Ulseth has 24 years of experience in
student services administration at three Michigan community colleges.
At Henry Ford Community College, Ulseth also
served as president of the administrators association and committee
chair and co-coordinator of the Michigan Transfer Network, a statewide
initiative to provide students with a central website for course
transfer equivalencies.
Ulseth holds associate and bachelor degrees from Tri-State University in
Angola, Ind., an MBA from Western Michigan University, and a doctorate
in Education from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln.
