York Tech's Hyleman and Byrdic Compete in Annual "Rad Tech Bowl"

ROCK HILL—York Technical College senior Radiologic Technology students Andrea Hyleman and Keisha Byrdic participated in the South Carolina Society of Radiologic Technologists' annual "Rad Tech Bowl" as part of the recent state meeting held in Myrtle Beach. Out of a field of 22 student competitors from 11 technical colleges in the state of South Carolina, Hyleman took first place and was awarded the traveling silver cup for York Technical College.

The SCSRT Rad Tech Bowl is an academic competition that brings together students from across South Carolina to match their knowledge of the Radiologic Sciences against each other. This professional level meeting draws radiologic technologists, educators, and experts in the field of radiology from around the state as well as nationally-known speakers.
