York Tech's World of Work Speaker Series Continues with Dr. Lemuel Watson

ROCK HILLYork Technical College's 2013 World of Work (WOW) Speaker Series will continue on Wednesday, April 10, with Dr. Lemuel Watson, Dean of the College of Education at the University of South Carolina.

Watson's lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Anne Springs Close Library on the York Tech campus. All WOW lectures are free and open to the public, and registration is not required.

Dr. Watson is a lifelong educator who has worked with legislators, businesses, grassroots agencies, fellow educators, and students to adopt new approaches to remain relevant and produce positive outcomes. In addition to his role as Dean, Watson also serves as a Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policies. He was awarded the U.S. Embassy Policy Specialist Fellowship and is a Fulbright Scholar.

York Tech's Business and Information Technology departments are sponsoring the World of Work Speaker Series. The theme of the series is Business Innovation Through Education, Design, and Technology.

The next speaker in the series will be Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., past chairman of the Society for Human Resource Management, the largest association devoted to human resource management, on April 22.
