York Tech Offers Information Sessions for Entrepreneurs

ROCK HILL—On Thursday, July 19, York Technical College's Business Administration Department will hold two information sessions for students and community members interested in becoming entrepreneurs. The sessions, appropriately named Expo of Entrepreneurs, are designed to provide students enrolled in the college's business programs and aspiring entrepreneurs opportunities to learn about the personal experiences of people who have successfully started their own businesses.

The Expo of Entrepreneurs sessions will be held in the Anne Springs Close Library, Room L-100, at 10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and at 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. There is no charge for students or the public to attend.

Both the morning and afternoon sessions will feature a guest entrepreneur speaker followed by a panel discussion of entrepreneurs who will answer questions and share information about how they handled specific situations. Gary L. Williams, of Williams & Fudge Inc. will be the Keynote Speaker. A list of the panelists is provided below.

The Expo of Entrepreneurs is funded through a grant from the Coleman Foundation, Inc. a private, independent foundation established to advance entrepreneurship awareness education, cancer research, care and treatment, housing and education for the handicapped, and diverse educational programs.
