Douglass Joins York Technical College Commission
ROCK HILL—York Technical College has announced that Claudia Douglass, Piedmont Medical Center’s Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer, has joined its governing board.
experience working for both non-profit and for-profit health systems. She spent six years in healthcare consulting with Arthur Andersen of Atlanta. Her first hospital position was in 1994 with Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Florida. She has been with Tenet
Healthcare, Piedmont Medical Center's
parent company, for more than eight years, two years as the Regional Director of Business Development for the Florida Region, and in her current position for the past six years.
Douglass is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is also a member of the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce Government Relations Task Force, Rock Hill Economic Development Quality of Life Task Force, and serves on the Board of Directors Executive Committee for the Community Blood Centers of the Carolinas. She is a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Rock Hill.
Douglass replaces Carolyn Carpenter, who retired after 20 years of service to the college.
