York Tech to Host York County Youth Service Provider’s Fair

ROCK HILL—On Thursday, October 26, the York County Youth Service Coalition will hold a youth service provider’s fair at York Technical College's Baxter Hood Center. The event will begin at 9 a.m.

Local high school guidance counselors, church youth pastors, social workers and other individuals who work with youth ages 14-21 are invited to attend. This is a great opportunity to meet local youth service providers and to learn about services that are available in York County. More than 40 local agencies will be available to provide information on the services they offer and to answer questions.

“If you work with young people, you will not want to miss this event," said Herb Tesh, chairperson, York County Youth Services Coalition. "This is your opportunity to meet one-on-one with agencies in York County that may be able to assist your clientele," said Tesh.

There is no cost to attend.
 

The York County Youth Service Coalition is made up of York County agencies that provide services to youth ages 14-21. The Coalition's mission and purpose is to strengthen partnerships among York County agencies serving youth.

The event is co-sponsored by the Catawba Regional Workforce Investment Board and York Technical College.
