Entrepreneur Network Event to Focus on Getting an Invention to the Marketplace

November 12, 2010

ROCK HILL—On Tuesday, November 16, the Entrepreneur Network will host a session featuring John Barnes, who will be talking about a new product he has invented. The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 6 p.m. at the Cotton Factory.

Barnes will explain the process he went through and the local resources that he used to take his idea through the production stage and to the point it is ready to sell. Also at the event, two new York Technical College initiatives, the Hive and the Hive Business Center, will be discussed. Everyone is invited to find out how the Business Center can help a new business start-up.

The Entrepreneur Network is a forum hosted by York Technical College on a quarterly basis to bring entrepreneurs together for networking and support.
