Certificate Programs

Four Certificates are offered in Industrial Electricity/Electronics. They are: Basic Electricity Certificate, Industrial Electronics Certificate, Motors and Controls Certificate, and Programmable Controls Certificate.  Each certificate is designed to provide the basic skills necessary in key areas to obtain a job in an industrial environment in a minimal amount of time. The Basic Electricity Certificate may be completed in as little as 8 weeks by taking daytime classes. Other Certificates will take between 18 and 26 weeks to complete.

Following the checksheets are schedules of the course offerings. Courses are offered during daytime and evening hours. Notice that a schedule is listed for those students beginning their studies in the Fall semester, as well as for those students who might begin during the Spring semester.  Always check with your advisor to ensure the appropriateness of your course selections.
