York Technical College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097: Telephone number 404-679-4501) to award Associate Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificates. Additional accreditation is associated with some specific programs and is described in the program information section of this catalog. York Technical College has established and maintains agreements with area vocational schools and area senior colleges to aid the transfer of student work both to and from the College.
