The SC Techonline process has changed to the process used for transient students. As a YTC student, you will need to search the SC Techonline Webpage to find the class/classes you want to take. Once you have identified the class, you will need to follow the steps listed below.

Step 1: Find the class you need by going to the SC Techonline webpage. You will have to search each college's link ( go to the map) to search for the class you want.

Step 2: Once you have identified the class, complete the YTC Student Transient Form.
To get more information about the transfer process, click here.

Step 3: If financial aid is necessary, contact the YTC Financial Aid office. Your financial aid may not pay the tuition for you to take the class from the Provider College. Click here for the link to the Financial Aid Consortium Agreement.

Step 4: When the class is approved by your advisor and you know you can pay for the class,  go back to the SC Techonline page and click on the link to the College that will provide the class.

Step 5: Follow the procedures listed on the Provider College's page for Admissions, Registration, and Tuition payment.

Step 6: Order your textbook from the Provider's Online Bookstore or any bookstore online. You may not be able to get your textbook at the YTC Bookstore because different colleges use different textbooks for the same class.

Step 7: Make sure you know when your class begins because the Provider College may not follow our schedule.  Log in on the first day of class.

Step 8: Upon successful completion of your class complete the Transcript Request Form from the Provider College to transfer your grade to York Technical College.
