Step 1:
Find the class you need by logging into
Campus Cruiser. Click on the upper tab labeled "Registration". On
the left you will see "Class Search". Click on this and complete
the information in the page that opens. You will need to click on the
drop down menu to the right of Term to choose the correct term.
You can put in a Subject or leave it blank. In the Location field
select "Int" for a list on YTC courses offered on the
Internet..

Step 2:
Get Admitted to York Technical College as a Transient
Student.

Step 3:
If you need financial aid, please contact the FA office at your home
college. Click here for the
Financial Aid
Consortium Agreement York Technical College has with your host
College.

Step 4:
Allow 2 days for your online application to be processed and
then contact an Admissions Counselor at York Technical College.
Please identify yourself as a SC Techonline
student.

Step 5:
The admissions counselor will register you for the class you request.
Students will be asked to submit unofficial grade reports or
transcripts to verify that course prerequisites have been met.

Step 6:
Order your textbook from the York Technical
College
online bookstore.

Step 7:
Check this
calendar link to determine the first day of class. The
Calendar is on the left under Around Campus .

Step 8:
Log into your class on the first day of class. Go to
http://www.yorktech.com and
click on Current Students. Then click on the Distance Learning/WebCT
page. On the top left side you will see a link to get your username
and password. You will need to know your Colleague ID which you can
get by
checking any information you received in the mail from York
Technical College, or you can receive it your username by entering your
last name and social security number when
clicking here. Make sure your
instructor knows you are enrolled at another Technical College so your
tests will be sent to the appropriate Assessment Center.

Step 9: Upon successful completion of your online class, complete the
Transcript Request Form
for evaluation of transfer credit..
