The EN was organized by York Technical College in 2007 to assist, inform and encourage local small business owners, entrepreneurs, and potential entrepreneurs to network, share experiences with others, and engage in valuable educational opportunities.

Awards Grant for Entrepreneurship to York Technical College!
York Technical College has received a $30,000 grant from Citi Foundation for our Entrepreneur Network and other activities related to small business. We are delighted to have the funding and look forward to this year of entrepreneurial activities. Join us for this exciting event featuring young entrepreneurs from around the United States. The Citi grant mentioned above is allowing us to bring the Extreme Entrepreneur Tour to the York Technical College campus. This tour visits campuses around the nation to inspire and motivate entrepreneurs of all ages. The goal is to "expose individuals to entrepreneurship as a career path, but also to energize and inform individuals about the entrepreneurial mindset regardless of career path. Speakers will discuss how to build your personal brand, expand your network, define your life vision, and get started on your goals even with limited resources." - Second Annual Young Entrepreneur Contest
Attention high school and middle school entrepreneurs! York Technical College's Entrepreneur Network and the York County Regional of Commerce's Small Business Council are joining forces again to bring the second opportunity for you to compete for seed money for your business. Contestants have until March 1 to prepare their application and business plan using a template. This competition is available to any young person of middle-school and high school age. Three prizes will be given in two categories - high school and middle school.
- First prize: $500 cash
- Second prize: $250 cash
- Third prize: $100 cash
- High school application
- Business Plan Template - Both categories use this.
- Middle school application
