Entrepreneurship as a Life Idea - Becoming CEO of Your Own Life
Young, charismatic, entrepreneur Ben Casnocha gave the EN his viewpoint of entrepreneurship as a life idea. As our special guest speaker of the year, 20-year old Ben Casnocha captivated the largest EN audience yet as approximately 90 small business owners and potential business owners attended. Ben shared such ideas as:
- Think differently; treat your life as an empty canvas and fill the canvas with your experiences as you take risks, fail, remain optimistic as you continue to learn from your failures, and stay persistent in endeavors.
- Invest in yourself; commit to all forms of self-improvement - including mental, spiritual, emotional, physical, creativity, and knowledge. Listen for good ideas on which to act; pursue the unexpected, and develop mentor relationships.
- Take action. Blame nobody, expect nothing, and do something.
Thi, a local entrepreneur who runs Thi's Place on Main Street in Rock Hill, catered the event and provided the audience with a delicious spread of lightly-breaded veggies, dips and chips, and delicious layered desserts.
