Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour is Awesome at York Technical College

York Technical College joined the big leagues on Wednesday, October 21, when Michael Simmons of Extreme Tour arrived on campus at 6:30 a.m. with his team to prepare for the day's mini-conference at the Baxter Hood Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Extreme Tour is an educational organization that travels the nation visiting higher education institutions. While Michael and his team were in Rock Hill, another team was conducting presentations at community colleges throughout California.

Almost 400 students attended the mini-conference to learn more about entrepreneurship and their own entrepreneurial mindsets. High schools and local colleges were invited to the event and Great Falls High School brought a busload of students.

Michael kicked off the very energetic event. He brought two other highly successful, young entrepreneurs - Anthony Adams, CEO of CreditCovers; and, Adam Witty of Advantage Networks. The entrepreneurs shared their stories and answered questions from the audience. Michael also conducted a speed networking session for the participants. The first 250 attendees received workbooks and Michael conducted a session for the attendees to review their own entrepreneurial characteristics.

Attendees were most complimentary of the event.

Boxed lunches of hotdogs were provided by Sonny's Dutch Mill, Rock Hill, South Carolina.
