Contact The Education Technology Center for your educational multimedia needs. The Multimedia Developer and Technology Specialist are available to provide technical services for on-line and other computer-based learning applications; to assist with audio/visual materials needed for instruction, student support services, and administrative projects; to assist with research and development of courses in alternate formats; and to provide related professional development opportunities to faculty and staff. The Education Technology Center is located in the Science and Technology Building room 243 and promotes technology in learning.

ETC Faculty Development Support

The Education Technology staff provide the following technical assistance to instructors:

• Course Development Opportunities
• Equipment Requests - Laptops, cameras, digital video recorders, digital DVD recorder, tripods, PDA's, MP3 players, microphones (lapel, head, desktop), speakers, projectors, VCR...
• Software such as: Camtasia, Microsoft Office 2007, Photoshop 5, Expression Web2,3,4, SoftChalk, Crazy Talk and Audacity.
• Smart Classroom - equipment and software
• Brain Storming - assist with ideas and applications
• CD/DVD Duplication - create and duplicate CD/DVD's for online/classroom use
• Video editing - edit and render video used for online/classroom use
• Podcasts, MP3, MP4 - record, edit and archieve audio for online/classroom use
• Covert files formats for audio, video and graphics
• Video/audio production - direct, film, produce, render and record audio/video for online/classroom use
• Instructor support - support instructor training in production (classroom materials), software, audio, video and equipment (smart classroom) used for multmedia
• Department webpage - assist department/staff with development and software (Microsoft Expression Web) training
• Web page - create web pages for CD/DVD, podcasts, instructor use, and multimedia projects
