H1N1 Flu Vaccine Clinic Announcement -
Chester Center
York Technical College - Chester Center will be hosting an H1N1
flu vaccine clinic on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 8:00 am until
11:00 am in room E-216 in the Chester Center. Through the SC Department
of Health and Environmental Control Region 3/Public Health, a team
of healthcare providers will be conducting the clinic to target York
Technical College (Chester Center) faculty/staff/students in the following high risk
groups identified by the Centers for Disease Control: young adults
ages 18-24 years, pregnant women, and persons of the ages of 25 - 64
years who are at higher risk for H1N1 because of chronic health
disorders or compromised immune systems.
Faculty/staff/students in the identified high
risk groups may receive the vaccine at
no cost.
Persons requesting the vaccine will be required to provide proof of
age such as a driver’s license or official identification card and
their current/valid student/faculty/staff identification card.
The first letter of the last name will be used to identify the time
slot for vaccine administration. The following schedule will
be implemented:

your full name as it appears on your student/faculty/staff
identification card by Monday, December 7, 2009.
