ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP

	BACKGROUND The Achievement Scholarship is awarded to an exceptional student from each of the high schools in the York Technical College service area.  The York Technical College Foundation established the scholarship in 1984 to encourage students to attend York Technical College.	SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION 1. The Financial Aid Scholarship Committee will review the applications and make awards based on availability of funds to those individuals recommended by the high school representative and who best meet the criteria.
	Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements: 1. must rank in the top 30 percent of his/her class 2. must have a 3.0 GPA

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

2. High School Transcript and/or college transcript, if applicable.
3. Letter of recommendation from a High School instructor or employer familiar with the     technical skills of the applicant.
4. Statement of need for scholarship assistance.
