The York Technical College Foundation is pleased to sponsor the Innovation Mini-Grants Program. The grants are available to college faculty, staff and student organizations working with a faculty or staff member.
The Innovation Mini-Grant program is designed to:
- Provide financial support for projects that promote innovation and promote student success; and
- Provide recognition to faculty and staff members who demonstrate a commitment to student success through the development of innovative ideas and approaches in their area of expertise or teaching.
Multiple grants ranging up to $1,500 each will be awarded. Awards will be made based upon the anticipated results and potential impact they have on maximizing student success.
Since its inception, there have been many great projects, ideas, and initiatives generated by this program. The York Technical College Foundation has increased the amount of funds available for the program from $10,000 annually to $25,000 annually. Additionally, there will now be two grant cycles - a fall cycle and a spring cycle.
Below is a detailed breakdown of the new Innovation Mini-Grant Program cycles:
