PIEDMONT HEALTHCARE SYSTEM- MEDICAL STAFF SCHOLARSHIP

BACKGROUND

The purpose of the Piedmont Healthcare System – Medical Staff Scholarship is to provide scholarship aid for deserving students in the health care field. The funds for this scholarship have been provided by the physicians of the Piedmont Healthcare System medical staff to promote educational opportunities for individuals to study health-related professions at York Technical College.

York Technical College and Piedmont Healthcare System have a strong and growing relationship involving nursing, radiology, laboratory, and surgical technology training. The medical staff recognizes the important of quality, well-trained, motivated individuals in the provision of health care. The medical staff is happy to support this critical community link in providing care for the most important people of all – our patients.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

1. Must be enrolled in a medical field, excluding dental

2. Must complete a York Technical College Application form below

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

IMPORTANT: Your application must include:

1. Completed application form. Follow the hyperlink.
2. High School Transcript and/or college transcript, if applicable.
3. Letter of recommendation from a High School instructor or employer familiar with the technical skills of the applicant.
4. Statement of need for scholarship assistance.
5. York Technical College Admission Notice.
