TEMPORARY GRANT POSITION 

The NLNAC Accredited Associate Degree Nursing Program, a cooperative program between the University of South Carolina Lancaster and York Technical College, is accepting applications for the following positions:

• Nursing faculty position – effective January 2010 to December 2010

The successful candidate for the position will have at a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Nursing or a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing with current enrollment in a MSN Program a successful completion of a minimum of 50% of the courses in the program; plus minimum of two years medical-surgical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse, excellent communication skills, a dedication to undergraduate teaching, and an unencumbered active current license as a registered nurse in the State of South Carolina or another Compact state.  Teaching experience, particularly at the undergraduate level, as well as experience with alternative delivery teaching strategies, are strongly desired.  The grant funded position offers competitive starting salary; the full-time position will include a comprehensive benefits package.
