Employees may elect to join Founderís Credit Union at any of their locations in the three- county area.  Employees also may join the SC State Credit Union.   Please call the Human Resources Department, Founderís, or SC State Credit Union for more information.

DIRECT DEPOSIT

 

Payroll checks can be directly deposited into your checking or savings account each pay period.  If you choose to have direct deposit you may access your payroll advise through Campus Cruiser.  Please print the direct deposit form and attach a voided deposit slip and send to attn:  Julie O'Dell, Payroll Accountant.  Please be aware that it may take as long as two pay periods for your pay to be deposited.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

York Technical College offers a confidential program to help employees with any difficulties they may encounter at work or at home.  Please call 1-800-968-8143 for information or assistance twenty-four (24) hours a day.

LONG TERM CARE

Long Term Care (LTC) insurance is offered for the day-to-day assistance you may need when you have a serious illness of disability that may last for an extended period of time, and you are not able to take care of yourself.  It includes a wide range of services that can be provided in your home, and adult day-care center, an assisted-living facility, a nursing home or hospice.

LONG TERM DISABILITY

The South Carolina Retirement Systems provides Long Term Disability Coverage to any employee that has five years of covered service.  In addition, employees may choose additional disability coverage through Standard Insurance. The additional coverage amount is based on your age and on your income.

The State of South Carolina Section 125 plan administered by Fringe Benefits Management Company.  Employees may have a Medical Spending Account, Dependent Care Account or Health Savings Account.

WORKER'S COMPENSATION

If you are injured on the job, notify your supervisor and the Human Resources  Department who will file a First Report of Injury.  If medical assistance is required, you will be treated at Piedmont East, located at 760 Addison Ave. Rock Hill, SC 29730.  If immediate assistance is needed, have someone  call 911 and also contact the Human Resources Department at 803-981-7183.  It should be noted that York Technical College drug screens all employees who have work related accidents
