ACR 108 - Refrigeration Fundamentals

This course is an introduction to the principles of refrigeration. (Prerequisite: RDG 031 or equivalent)

CIM 241 - Automated Manufacturing Equipment

This course is an introduction to the basic operation of equipment that is used for automation. (Prerequisite: EEM 250 and EEM 271 OR Corequisites: EEM 250 and EEM 271)

EEM 117 - AC/DC Circuits I

This course is a study of direct and alternating current theory, Ohm's Law, series, parallel, and combination circuits. Circuits are constructed and tested. (Prerequisite: RDG 031 or equivalent, MAT 032 or equivalent)

EEM 121 - Electrical Measurements

This course covers the basic principles of electrical measuring instruments and how they are used in industries. (Prerequisites: RDG 031 or equivalent, MAT 032 or equivalent; Co-requisite: EEM 117)

EEM 140 - National Electrical Code

This course is a study of the National Electrical Code and is based on the latest codes as published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).  (Prerequisites: RDG 031 or equivalent, EEM 117)

EEM 145 - Control Circuits

This course covers the principles and applications of component circuits and methods of motor control. (Prerequisite: EEM 117)

EEM 201 - Electronic Devices I

This course is a study of the fundamental principles of common electronic devices and circuits. Emphasis is placed on solid-state principles and applications. (Prerequisite: EEM 117)

EEM 215 - DC/AC Machines

This course is a study of applications, operations, and construction of DC and AC machines.  (Prerequisite: EEM 117)

EEM 221 - DC/AC Drives

This course covers the principles of operation and application of DC drives and AC drives. (Prerequisites: EEM 215)

EEM 250 - Programmable Logic Controllers 

This course is a study of programmable control systems with emphasis on basic programming techniques. Additional topics such as interfacing, data manipulation, and report generation will be covered. (Prerequisite: EEM 145)

EEM 251 - Programmable Controllers

This course is an introduction to programmable control systems with emphasis on basic programming techniques. A variety of input/output devices and their applications are covered. (Prerequisite: EEM 145)

EEM 252 - Programmable Controllers Applications

This course covers the application of programmable controllers, theories, and operation procedures. Topics such as interfacing, data manipulation, and report generation are covered. Programmable controller projects are constructed, operated, and tested. (Prerequisite: EEM 145)

IMT 102 - Industrial Safety

This course covers safety awareness and practices found in industry. (Prerequisite: RDG 031 or equivalent, MAT 032 or equivalent)

IMT 104 - Schematics

This course covers the interpretation of mechanical, fluid power, and/or electrical schematics. (Prerequisite: RDG 031 or equivalent, MAT 032 or equivalent)

IMT 114 - Benchwork and Assembly

This course covers the use of hand and power tools, measuring, and prints associated with an assembly project. (Prerequisite: RDG 031 or equivalent, MAT 032 or equivalent)

IMT 120 - Mechanical Installations

This course covers techniques of assembling, rigging, and installation and/or maintenance of mechanical equipment. (Prerequisite: RDG 031 or equivalent, MAT 032 or equivalent)

IMT 123 - Air Compressors

This course covers methods used to install and/or maintain various types of air compressors. (Prerequisite: RDG 031 or equivalent, MAT 032 or equivalent)

IMT 131 - Hydraulics and Pneumatics

This course covers the basic hydraulic terminology and principles of hydraulics and pneumatics. (Prerequisite: RDG 031 or equivalent, MAT 032 or equivalent)

IMT 151 - Piping Systems

This course covers plumbing and piping systems used in industrial, commercial, and/or residential construction. Emphasis is placed on the reading and sketching of piping schematics as well as fabrication and design of piping systems. (Prerequisite: RDG 031 or equivalent, MAT 032 or equivalent)

IMT 161 - Mechanical Power Applications

This course covers mechanical transmission devices, including procedures for installation, removal, and maintenance. (Prerequisite: RDG 031 or equivalent, MAT 032 or equivalent)

IMT 163 - Problem Solving for Mechanical Applications

This course covers troubleshooting techniques such as mathematical calculations and mechanical procedures. (Prerequisite: RDG 031 or equivalent, MAT 032 or equivalent)

WLD 142 - Maintenance Welding

This course covers gas and arc welding processes used in maintenance shops. (Prerequisite: RDG 031 or equivalent, MAT 032 or equivalent)
