• What is an eBook?
An “electronic book,” also known as an “eBook,” is just like a paper book that you hold in your hand, only you access it on the computer via the Internet any time you want to. It offers you a lot of options for searching, for example, you can search for your topic within all eBooks or within a particular eBook. You can also print text from an eBook, one page at a time.

  • Why use an eBook?

    • To quickly access research, reference, and other reading materials online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    • To get reliable information from a book source quickly and easily, especially if you have a specific subject in mind.

    • To see if a particular subject is discussed and compare how it is presented in different sources.

If prompted for a user ID, use your library barcode or
the prefix 003996 followed by your 7 digit college ID number.
