Work-based Learning (WBL)
Overview
Work-based Learning (WBL) integrates classroom study with hands-on experience.
A student will have specific periods of employment. There are three types of WBL
programs offered at the college.
Cooperative Work Experience, Internship, and Apprenticeship
Credit students must have at least a 2.5 grade point average and twelve completed curriculum credits from York Technical College in order to qualify for Work-based Learning (WBL).
Continuing Education students must complete the entire program of study in order to qualify for WBL.
