WU Bridge Program FAQ's
The Winthrop Bridge program is open to new York Tech students who would like to transfer into one of the designated programs at Winthrop. In addition, students who are denied admission to Winthrop University and live in the York Tech service area, are referred to the Bridge program. All students must be enrolled in a 2+2 degree program or University Studies Certificate.
Students indicate their interested in enrolling in the Winthrop Bridge by completing the Intent to Enroll form, available through York Tech Enrollment Services.
Winthrop Bridge participants pay tuition and fees for enrollment to York Technical College. In addition, they are assessed a Winthrop Bridge program fee of $300 for the academic year (fall and spring terms), payable to York Technical College and remitted to Winthrop University. This fee defers the cost of services provided by Winthrop. This fee is non-refundable.
